Privacy Policy of Mission without frontiers
1. Principles
Mission without frontiers protects all data of its contacts to the best of its knowledge and belief with the greatest possible care.
· The legal basis is the Swiss Data Protection Act (Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP); SR 235.1) and its ordinance (FADP; SR 235.11), and – if and insofar as applicable – the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.
· NO hidden information (cookies) is stored and NO traces are followed (tracking).
· NO data is collected that does not come directly to us in the fulfillment of our task and activity and NO new addresses are sought indirectly.
· In principle, NO data is passed on to third parties.
· All our contacts are voluntary. You have the right to inspect the data stored about you at any time and to request that it be corrected or deleted.
· The database is encrypted to a high standard on the internal computers and stored in the required backup copies.
· There is NO internet access to the database.
· All employees who have access to data in accordance with their duties pledge not to make it accessible to third parties in any form.
2. Stored Contact Information Data
· Only data that is legally required to fulfil the purpose of the association (accounting) or is necessary and useful for the processing of orders (orders and deliveries; mission meetings, travel and visiting services) is stored.
· Incomplete or changed address data can be updated manually from publicly accessible directories. (However, there is NO link to any external databases).
3. Deletion of data records
· If a contact (or their close relatives) wishes their data to be deleted or erased, it will be deleted in full immediately if no legally required data is affected.
If data must be retained for accounting purposes due to the obligation to retain data and to ensure that there are no gaps, all data that is not absolutely necessary will be deleted. (Address data other than initials and all information that would allow conclusions to be drawn about the person).
After expiry of the retention obligation and in the event of long periods of inactivity, data records that are no longer used are regularly deleted in full.
· Paper records from Postfinance and banks as well as internal accounting documents containing personal data are destroyed after a maximum of 11 years.
4 Accountability
· The administrator is the main person responsible for the data protection guidelines and its application at Mission without Frontiers.
